Our Mission:

Our mission at Give School Kids a Brake is clear: to create awareness and advocate for policies that enhance the safety of school zones throughout Georgia. We believe that every child should be able to walk or bike to school without fear, and every parent should feel confident about their child's safety during drop-off and pick-up.

Our Initiatives:

Awareness Campaigns: We raise awareness about the importance of school zone safety through community outreach, events, and social media campaigns.

Policy Advocacy: We work with local and state authorities to advocate for stricter traffic laws, improved infrastructure, and the implementation of safety measures like speed limits, crosswalks, and traffic signage.

Community Engagement: We encourage parents, teachers, and community members to get involved by volunteering, attending meetings, and taking part in safety initiatives.
